you will see an option at your top right which says EDIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP.
You have four options: 1) INDIVIDUAL E-MAIL you may find this to be
high volume at times so you may want to opt for one of the other options, 2) DAILY
DIGEST (you will receive all the e-mails posted in one day in one large daily
e-mail), 3) SPECIAL NOTICES (you will ONLY receive what the moderator deems
is a special notice which will be mailed by the moderator/s only, no other e-mails
will be sent) or 4) NO E-MAIL (you will receive NO special notices, and
no e-mails - some people prefer this option most as they can read the all the
member's posts on the classmates site at the above noted link). To read messages
on the MHS classmates site, click on the MESSAGES link on the left bar at the
site.
MEMBERS
To see what other members belong to the
club, click on the MEMBERS link. By clicking on their names a profile on each
member should appear. You can add your own profile by clicking on the EDIT MY
MEMBERSHIP link, same link that takes you to the mail options. Under Yahoo profile,
click and "create a new profile" for yourself.
ALUMNI
WEB SITE To View the MHS web page go to; http://www.mimicoalumni.ca We
are trying to keep this Alumni page up to date on a continual basis. We
ask that you send the list owner (mhsalumni1980@bell.net)
Your Name, Grad year, Yahoo ID, and if you have one, and if you have a web page,
your address.
The reasons for this are:
1- we have had a few people join
our list accidentally.
2- a few members have had consistently "bounced"
mail.
3- it's easier for alumni to find old friends if they have a grad year
available.

NO NAME CALLING IN A DEGRADING MANNER. Respect other's views and opinions. If
you must express your disagreement, please do so in a way that doesn't attack
another person. Addressing ideas is different than attacking a person. 3.
NO ONE WORD OR ONE LINE RESPONSES TO POSTS. There is another list called MHS -
Chat specifically set up for this. For more information on joining this list,
please ask. 4. NO PORNOGRAPHY! NO ADVERTISEMENTS! NO PERSONAL ADS! NO SPAMMING!
NO CHAIN LETTERS! NO VIRUS HOAXES! Failure to comply will result in an automatic
ban,
no discussion available. There are several options for sharing information,
including the bookmark section for homepages and shared web links, the
photo
section, and the data base with the contact information. If you have
something
you feel would benefit the group, please email me personally. We
can then
discuss the item and come to a decision together. 7. THERE WILL NO TOLERANCE
OF DISCUSSIONS OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY OF ANY FORM. 8. IF YOU MUST DISCUSS "HOT
TOPICS" SUCH AS RELIGION, ABUSE IN ALL FORMS, OR OTHER ISSUES PLEASE STATE
SO IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE SO THAT OTHERS CAN AVOID

READ IT. 9. NO DISHONESTY OR LYING! If it is discovered that you have lied
to the owners/moderators about anything on the member questions for approval you
will be banned. 10. WE ARE ADULTS. LET'S ACT IN SUCH A MANNER. If there
is a conflict with ANYONE, please try to resolve it privately rather than tear
apart the community. If that is not an option, then turn to the owners/moderators
or a neutral person. 11. YOU WILL BE MODERATED UNTIL YOU POST AN INTRODUCTION
TO THE GROUP. After
that time you will be able to post freely. If you violate
any of the rules,
your posting privileges may be moderated or removed. !2
- NO FORWARDS to the list. If you wish to send information that you have received
from someone else, PLEASE remove ALL other e-mail addresses that appear on the
e-mail and send your mail as a NEW e-mail. Sending forwarded mail opens the people
whose e-mails are listed on a forward up to spammers.
